Here is what to know before your next appointment.
A new booking policy helps protect everyone’s time
715 Beautify is updating its booking policy to help keep the schedule fair, reliable, and respectful for both clients and service providers.
All clients are now required to have a card on file when booking an appointment. This helps secure your appointment time and supports the team when last-minute changes happen without notice.
The biggest change applies to no-shows. It breaks my heart that people have abused our kindess... but too many clients have ghosted us.
If a client does not show up for an appointment and does not communicate with the salon, 50% of the booked service will be charged to the card on file.
A no-show means the appointment time was reserved, but the client did not arrive and did not reach out to cancel or reschedule. Beauty services require time, preparation, and dedicated space on the schedule. When someone misses an appointment without notice, that time usually cannot be filled at the last minute.
This policy allows the team to continue offering consistent service while making sure appointment times are treated with care.
Cancellations and rescheduling now need 12 hours’ notice
Plans change. Schedules shift. Life happens. The updated policy still leaves room for that, but communication matters.
Clients who need to cancel or reschedule should do so no later than 12 hours before the appointment.
This notice gives the salon a chance to offer that opening to someone else who may be waiting for an appointment. It also helps your provider adjust their day without losing a large block of time unexpectedly.
Exciting update for Mackenzie!
Some clients have heard... but for those that don't know, Mackenzie and her husband are expecting a Baby Boy in February!
Mackenzie will be on maternity leave from February through April. During that time, her availability will be paused, so clients who want to get on her schedule should plan ahead.
If Mackenzie is your go-to provider, booking in advance is the best way to make sure you get an appointment before her leave begins. The weeks leading up to maternity leave, and busy holiday season, often fill quickly, especially for regular services and maintenance appointments.
Planning now will help avoid the last-minute scramble that can happen when appointment books get full. Mackenzie is currently an intructor for estheticians at Fox Valley Technical College on Mondays and bridal makeup on most Fridays & Saturdays. Days at the salon for clients can be limited during "peak season".
While Mackenzie is away, the 715 Beautify team will continue to care for clients and help keep services moving as smoothly as possible. Her maternity leave is a joyful milestone, and the team is excited to support her during this special time.
Welcome, Brailynn! Our a new esthetician.
715 Beautify has also welcomed Brailynn, the salon’s new esthetician.
Brailynn is a facial expert and is trained in the skincare services clients already know and love. Her arrival adds more availability and support for clients who want to keep up with their skin goals, refresh their routine, or enjoy a relaxing facial appointment.
Brailynn is currently available on Saturdays and Mondays. Pop in over the weekend, or after work!
Meghan joins the team as a new lash technician
The salon is also excited to welcome Meghan, the new lash technician at 715 Beautify.
Meghan brings over five years of lash experience to 715 Beautify. Origionally from Texas, she chanels "everything is bigger in Texas" through lash artistry with full volume lashes. She is experienced in all styles, but she loves a dramatic look!
Meghan is currently available on Tuesdays and Fridays. Her schedule will expand if there is demand.
